It's the first time in my life I don't dread going to the dentist! The practice is very modern with state-of-the-art equipment but it is not at all clinical; the staff are welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing - you feel that you can trust them to look after you. Andrew Michelmore is a talented professional; he is also very positive and has given me renewed pride in looking after my teeth. After having my implants it's just great to be able to smile without being self-conscious.
We provide an extensive range of treatments from simple fillings and advice on oral hygiene, to the most up-to-date procedures in aesthetic dentistry all within our superbly equipped clinic. We use the latest digital imaging, computer software, intra oral cameras, laser detection equipment and patient education system.
What many people are not aware of however is the impact that missing teeth may have on your dental health. When you lose a tooth the remaining teeth are not locked into place and this gap allows for the adjascent teeth to drift into this area. This causes instability within the bite. The opposing tooth's future is also now in jeopardy. It may, over a period of time, over-errupt into the new space to such an extent that this tooth may be lost. The base of the dental implant (the post) serves as a substitute for the missing tooth root structure.
