Customer Testimonials

Just a short note to express my appreciation for the excellent treatment I received from your practice. It was a delight to visit, everyone spent time putting me at ease and I am a lot more relaxed visiting the dentist now! There were no dramas or upsets and my dental work was completed quickly and calmly and looks great.

I went to Dental Health Care to have a tooth removed, one which has been causing problems for the last year or so.

I was very anxious about this procedure, only ever having had wisdom teeth removed before with the help of a general anesthetic. I was feeling scared in the waiting room and worried about not breathing - then fainting

The dentists were very reassuring from the outset. They explained each stage of the procedure, allowing plenty of time for the anesthetic to work. The actual removal of the crown and roots was done quickly and with ease. I was suprised by this - pleasantly so.

Our family joined Dental Health Care practice in December 2008 and through a series of appointments I have had all my old grey fillings replaced with white ones.
The services from the all the team have been first class. I have been told of each procedure as it happened and I am very pleased with the results.

The dentists and dental nurse were amazing and made me feel very relaxed.
I can't recommend them enough!

I attended after a traumatic previous dental experience. They are very calm, reassuring and professional.

From Our Website

Dental Health Care is an established, affordable private dental practice. We are creating a new exciting vibe for dental treatments in Hertford. We can even provide your children with dental appointments on our fun children's days throughout the year. We understand how busy lifestyles can result in difficulty when scheduling a dental appointment. This can be hard to fit around your work and family commitments. Because of this we are proud to provide dentistry for busy people - we open early, late and at weekends to help suit your diary making your dental appointments easier to attend.

Your clear brace treatment consists of a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that you change every two weeks for the next set of aligners. Each aligner is individually manufactured for your teeth, and your teeth only. As you replace each aligner, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by your dentist. What's more, in some cases a virtual 3D treatment plan shows the series of movements your teeth will go through over the course of the treatment.

Dermal fillers are also used for smoothing frown lines and wrinkles, but besides this they are also used to increase fullness to narrow lips, enhance sunken cheeks and even be used to contour the bridge of the nose. The dentist will administer local anaesthetic over the required areas of your face, once the anaesthetic has taken effect they will begin to inject the dermal filler, this will be done by using tiny needles, which makes ducts in your skin for the dermal fillers to lay. The length of this procedure can depend on the areas you are having treated and how many injections you may need.

You can either register or book an appointment by calling us on 01992 582945 or send us an email to reception@dentalhealthcare.co.uk. One of our friendly team members will be able to help arrange a convenient appointment for you, or if you have any questions you'd like to ask whether it is about the practice, treatments that we provide or anything else then please don't hesitate to ask. Once you have booked an appointment you will receive text message or an automated answerphone message to confirm you're booking.

Having a denture will not only improve your appearance, but will enable you to still eat efficiently. It can take some time and practice to get used to wearing dentures, this is because every person's mouth has a different structure, which can affect the retention and stability of the denture. A dentist will be able to tell you if a full denture is the way forward for you or whether a different option would be more suitable. When you have missing teeth it is important they are replaced, not just for appearance, but the gap left by a missing tooth can mean greater strain is put on the teeth on each side.

A veneer is a thin layer of porcelain made to fit over the front surface of a tooth, very much as a false nail fits over a fingernail. Veneers can be done to restore a single tooth but also a series of veneers can be made to create a new smile. Porcelain is a cosmetic material which can be made to any shade that you desire your teeth to be, this could be a natural shade or even a Hollywood white smile. Veneers make teeth look natural and healthy, and because they are very thin and are held in place by a special bond (rather like a superglue of dentistry) very little preparation of the existing tooth structure is necessary, so it can be quite a conservative treatment for such a great result.

Dental hygienists are very important to our dental care, they are specially trained in cleaning our teeth, helping to prevent gum disease and maintaining our dental restorations. Early stages of gum disease does not always show physical signs and symptoms so detecting gum disease early can prevent the need for extensive dental treatment in the future.

We use the best materials which are sourced for their advanced nature. This results in our patients' receiving the highest quality treatment, resulting in long term success.
