Denplan is a great scheme that provides you with emergency cover if you are away from home and also insurance if you were to have a dental accident. You are free to join this plan after your initial consultation and can gain the 20% discount straight away. This plan is a great way of budgeting for your full dental care throughout the year and gives you peace of mind that the financial aspects of your dental care are taken care of. You do have to be dentally fit to join Denplan Care, which is graded upon an individual basis, depending on the condition of your teeth and gums.

As a private dental practice in Darlington, we require that all appointments are payable on the day of treatment. Invariably with treatment options such as crowns or dentures the cost will be spread over a number of visits, and if so we will divide the total amount and let you know how much is to pay at each appointment. All private emergency appointments do need to be paid before you go into the surgery but you will be advised of this by our receptionist when you book the appointment. We accept cash, credit and debit cards and do still currently accept cheques with a valid bankers card.

At Springs dental studio we have been using the home treatment technique of whitening for many years as this is a simple safe procedure that whitens teeth simply and effectively. At your first visit we will take impressions of your teeth so we can construct special thin whitening trays that will fit your teeth snugly, comfortably and securely. We will show you how to use the whitening agent with your trays and how to care for your teeth. We will then ask you to return so we can measure the improvement and adapt the procedure for any stubborn stains or teeth that have particular problems i.e. some teeth may be very dark, mottled or hypocalcified.

At Springs Dental Studio we take complaints very seriously and try to ensure that all patients are pleased with their experience at the practice. When a complaint arises we act promptly and courteously so that the matter is resolved as quickly as possible and also to prevent similar incidents occurring in the future. Our procedure is based on the following objectives. Our aim is to respond to all concerns and complaints in a caring and sensitive way. Every team member within the practice is competent to deal with complaints and are fully aware of the procedure that we have in place, although all complaints will be overseen and ultimately dealt with by Anitha Bangaru.

This form is also updated on a regular basis so that we can continuously monitor that you are getting the best treatment options for you. If you have any special desires or wishes for your smile, please let us know. You may be surprised what can be achieved now through cosmetic dentistry- meaning that Hollywood smile is closer than you think. On your first visit to Springs Dental Studio, our Dentists will welcome you to the practice and have a thorough look around your teeth and gums. This will enable them to have a clear view about the condition of your mouth, and also to check your soft tissues for any possible signs of mouth cancer.

A bridge is a fixed dental prosthesis used to replace a missing tooth (or several teeth) by joining an artificial tooth permanently to adjacent teeth. The bridge is attached to the teeth either side of the gap in your teeth so creating a permanent replacement. A bridge is permanent and cannot be removed. The first visit to prepare your teeth and take impressions. During this visit, a temporary bridge is placed in your mouth to protect the exposed teeth and gums. During your second visit, the Dentist removes the temporary bridge and places the permanent bridge in your mouth.

Crowns are an ideal way to cover heavily filled, weak or damaged teeth either to protect them or to rebuild or reshape when veneers or composite fillings won't be effective. A crown is an artificial restoration that fits over the remaining or prepared part of the tooth making it stronger and giving it the shape of a natural tooth. Our Dentists will prepare the tooth to the ideal shape for the type of crown to be made. Only the required amount of tooth will be removed to give enough room for the thickness of the crown to fit the tooth.
