From Our Website

Jersey Smile Centre is located in the heart of St Helier, offering friendly, affordable, patient-centred dental care for the past 30 years. The Practice offers the latest procedures thanks to the latest in dental equipment and technology. Our superbly equipped surgeries use a fully digitalised system with the latest digital imaging and computer software, modern intra-oral cameras and patient education screens. We provide modern dentistry with a long term view towards care and follow up. Our approach to dental treatment is based on established evidence and we aim for predictable treatment outcomes.

Our friendly and approachable team is here for you and our priority is to make you feel as relaxed and comfortable as possible. We understands that for many patients dental visits are very stressful and it takes a lot of self-motivation and courage for them to even book the initial appointment, let alone to have the treatment done. We have a great deal of experience in caring for anxious, nervous and dental phobic patients. We have now successfully treated a number of anxious patients who have become a regular attenders and feel so much more comfortable in the dental chair.

We would never recommend replacement of a filling if there is no clinical justification for it. If you require a new filling or perhaps you existent silver fillings are coming to the end of their lifespan and require replacement we would recommend composite as better alternative to the outdated amalgam. At Jersey Smile Centre we aim to restore your teeth with the best and safest dental materials available. The white (composite fillings) provide a healthier more natural looking alternative to silver fillings (amalgam fillings).

We use only professional, safe and tested products which concentration and type is prescribed based on your individual needs to ensure you will get the desired result. Before we recommend whitening we will thoroughly examine your teeth and gums and advice you if whitening is the best option for you at this time or if other treatments would be more suitable to achieve your desired end goal. Whitening in safe hands is a safe, however if you have any cavities, gum recession or failing dental restorations or existing gum disease these will need to be treated first, otherwise you might suffer from unwanted complications such as pain or sensitivity or cause more damage to the enamel.

Invisalign straightens teeth using a series of nearly invisible, removable aligners that are custom-made specifically for your teeth. As you replace each aligner every two weeks, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week, gradually moving towards the projected final position. Comfortable, clear and removable - Invisalign transforms your smile without disrupting your life. Something that over 3 million people worldwide have already discovered. The Damon System is not just about revolutionary braces and wires, it's a whole new way of treating patients.

After your exam appointment with dentist and thorough assessment of your gums and bone supporting the teeth we will create a personalised hygiene plan which best suits your needs. So whether you need a quick brighten up with a classic clean (scale and polish) or a more extensive treatment for active gum disease we are here to help. At Jersey Smile Centre we realise the foundations to a beautiful, healthy and a happy smile are healthy gums. Our two amazing hygienist Pamela is dedicated to providing you with the tools and educating you on how you can prevent gum disease and dental decay.

Whether you are missing one tooth, multiple teeth, or all of your teeth, dental implants offer a state-of-the-art, reliable solution to provide you a healthy, natural-looking smile. Dental implants are surgically placed in the jaw bone to replace missing tooth roots. Once healed, dental implants act as a base to anchor the visible portion of the artificial tooth - ranging from individual crowns, multi-tooth bridges, or full-arch dental prostheses. Since every surgical procedure carries potential risks, you should always consult a dental professional to evaluate whether dental implants are the suitable option for you.
