| Candidate CV resume: | In the seven years since leaving university, I have completed both the MFDS and MFGDP diplomas and several post-graduate courses. This enables me to provide my patients with a wider range of treatments that can be carried out within the practice. During my time in practice, I have been fortunate enough to play a key role in helping my team become finalists in the ‘Best Team’ Category in both the Private Dentistry and Probe Awards, for the last two years. In addition to this, I have helped the practice achieve the BDA Good Practice Award for the last 5 years, and achieved Investors in People in 2004. Being part of a great team has also helped to develop my four handed dentistry skills, and assist in the training of junior members of staff. I am proficient in using dental software such as Software of Excellence, able to comfortably use intra-oral photography to aid both treatment planning and patient education, and well trained in providing CADCAM (Cerec) restorations. In 2007 I completed the ClearStep accreditation course to enable me to provide their ‘invisible brace’ system, and have since completed several cases successfully. As part of the SimplyEndo course, I gained an in-depth knowledge of the latest endodontic techniques and am comfortable with using rotary endodontic systems. In addition, following my time as a Maxillofacial Senior House Officer, I am competent in oral surgery, an aspect of dentistry that I particularly enjoy. I am looking to work in a friendly, forward thinking general practice, where I would be able to enhance my career as a dental associate, and have the opportunity to use my skills to their fullest potential as part of a like-minded, enthusiastic dental team. |
