Black Swan Dental Spa

I try to see the Hygienist at least once a year. Claire makes it a good experience (I'm a nervous patient!) and I'm always glad that I've been. And today (19th June 2025) I went to the dentist. Always anxious beforehand but Toochi is excellent and calming and explains everything so clearly and luckily for me I don't need to go for another year.

Always so friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended - especially for anyone who is scared or apprehensive about visiting a dentist.

Excellent service. They make you feel relaxed, and explain everything thats happening.

I have been having months of quite significant dental care (for me) and my Dentist Jayesh and his assistant Lucy have been nothing short of brilliant. I feel completely confident in their care and bearing in mind I was very anxious at the start they really have worked wonders. The hygienists have also been fabulous . I have been recommending them to everyone.

As a current customer, I had to have an emergency appointment. This was with another dentist, not my usual excellent dentist, Toochi. My appointment was with Jay. I was in a great deal of pain and quite anxious. He was excellent, very thorough in assessing the cause of my problem and just as important very gentle. It has confirmed for me that Black Swan dental spa really are a quality dental practice.

Easy to get appointments. Thorough, professional treatments. Friendly, welcoming staff. Spotless and beautiful space.

Exemplary, everyone is polite, helpful and friendly. Im not keen on going to the dentist and have often gone a long time between visits, and following a move to Somerset, I was less than happy to have to consider going to the dentist. I had a back tooth extracted this morning by Maisie & dental nurse Caitlin ( apologies if thats spelt wrongly ) .
This is how dentists should be . Make you feel at ease . A chat before the treatment . Explain every single aspect of what they are doing at the time . Reassurance constantly from both .
Outstanding care .
Im sent home to heal with care instructions & will receive a follow up call .
I still have more treatment to receive & I know Im in the best care . The whole team at Black Swan are incredible . Thankyou so much for the care you showed today . 100 % recommend.

Recently had my first hygienist appointment with Claire. Made to feel comfortable throughout the treatment by both Claire & her assistant.
Claire was very helpful explaining & suggesting what I could to do at home. All the staff are excellent very helpful and cheerful.

Needed to have some stitches out this morning with Maisie after a surgical procedure which was carried out by Dominic. All went really well on both occasions. The practice has a very friendly, relaxed atmosphere.spotlessly clean and efficiently run. Great to know they are there to take care of all dental problems. Would highly recommend them.

Ahmad is totally professional in every way, shows a passion for his work and treats his patients with total respect. He and his team have shown patience and positivity throughout, everyone makes you feel welcome and comfortable and I cant wait to see the end results.

I'm needing quite a lot of work done but I was examined carefully and the options were clear.
There was no pressure at any point and lots of payment options.

As someone who is terrified of visiting the dentist, this is a completely different experience. Youre given a wonderfully warm welcome and big smiles as soon as you walk in - nothing is too much trouble, and the ambient and elegant surroundings add to the atmosphere.

The surgery rooms are relaxing and calm and the dentists themselves are knowledgeable, patient, and have your best interests at heart.

I had an extraction on a recent visit, and I felt safe in Tochukwus care. The procedure was quick and painless.

I recommend Black Swan over and above any dentist Ive visited - it honestly doesnt feel as though youre going to the dentist!

My husband and I have been using Black Swan for hygiene and checkup appointments for 8 years. I am absolutely delighted with the cosmetic work Steve has recently done on my teeth. I have wanted to improve the look of my crooked teeth for years and at last I have a smile to be proud of. Every step of the treatment was carefully discussed in advance, and clearly explained. Have been with Black Swan for at least 12 years. It cant be often that people say they enjoy going to the dentist but I do. The team is welcoming and supportive. Procedures are clearly explained and why one needs them likewise. I cant praise the whole team enough.

Only had 2 appointments since joined. Both with Ahmed & so pleased we moved there. Treatments were excellent & I felt comfortable at all times. The staff are very welcoming, friendly & can talk you through your treatment if needed.

From the outset - booking over the phone to attending the practice, very welcoming friendly staff - great surroundings and through to dental procedures, all very professional. Have recommended and will continue to do so.

After many years with a difficult molar that needed extraction . No less than 4 dentists over the years could ever numb it . My other teeth have never had this problem . So, I gathered up my courage and funds to visit Black Swan after it finally broke . At last .....not only was I believed but Tuchi explained the advantage of conscious sedation . Both he and the nurses were so kind and understanding I went ahead .
Yesterday was just an amazing experience. Professional, kind and thoughtful . After years of terror from this tooth , its gone . OK, so I looked like a hamster this morning and it hurts a lot but the relief is immense . I'm not a nervous patient and have had fillings, crowns etc on other teeth ( a child of the 50's) . Today I'm just in awe of this wonderful practice . Apologies for the "epistle" and Thankyou everyone I've encountered there and of course to Tuchi .

This was my first appointment with Maisie. I found her to be professional, informative and extremely charming. Her examination was thorough and she made my treatment options going forward very clear and even quoted prices for them.

As a very nervous dental patient, I cannot recommend Black Swan more highly. I am currently undergoing a course of treatment with Dooha who is not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also exceptionally understanding and human. Ive been totally put at ease and feel genuinely cared for by the entire team. The reception staff are second to none, and play such a vital role in the whole experience. I wouldnt go anywhere else (it also helps that it also feels like youre stepping into a 5* hotel when you enter the building!)

I've never had service and treatment like this anywhere in my life before, 5 is nowhere near what it should be.
My provider at the black Swan was maisie, and must say again. Never have i had service and care before like that, put me at complete ease.
(I believe individuals should be recognised not just the business).
If you need treatment there is no other then the black Swan, you are in great hands.

I have been a patient at Black Swan for several years and have found every part of the service to be exemplary from the Reception staff through to the Hygienists and Dentists. I recently had extensive and difficult work done to correct a problem and Ahmad was so understanding and spent considerable time and effort ensuring that I was happy with the result. I cannot imagine any of my previous dentists taking this amount of trouble. I feel confident in knowing that Ahmad and his team will always strive to choose the best treatment I need.

In my four years of attending Black Swan I've always received exceptional care, but my last visit to see my lovely hygienist, Donna, deserves a special mention. She is absolutely first class at what she does, which is reflected in the visible and measurable improvement to my gums, and she is gentle and caring. Thank you to her and to all the team at Black Swan.

I am so happy with the service and attention given to me when I needed a new crown fitted. Maisie is amazing, really put me at ease and I have gained enormous confidence from the work she did. As a previously ultra-nervous patient, I have no hesitations in continuing my treatment with Black Swan.

Steve is just an amazing dentist. I've had some horrible experiences in the past with previous dentists, but I no longer dread a dental appointment. The skill, quality and precision of the dental work Steve provides is second to none. No pain, not even with the injections, and he's always happy to answer my never ending questions, and always puts me at ease. The reception staff are great too, very friendly and proficient. I went to The Black Swan back in October, to get a 2nd opinion, and from that day onwards I've not looked back. Ahmad made me feel at ease, gave me lots of options, all the staff were very welcoming too. So I went away with my options, went back again to say what I would opt for, so they got the ball rolling and today ,I've had my top teeth removed and full implants.
You've all made me feel great, and the care was outstanding, who'd of thought a new smile can make you cry.

Having lost my NHS dental practice last year, I needed to find a new practice. Black Swan Dental Spa were the only practice who offered me a consultation appointment. Very impressed with practice. Excelent and comfortable decor and welcoming staff.

There is a massive shortage of Dentists in Somerset both NHS & Private. So over two weeks after breaking off a front tooth crown I was getting desperate to find help.
Luckily Black Swan had one appointment that I could have.
Sadly the tooth had gone and only the root remained. So no more crowns here . But its removal was done brilliantly.
I have a complicated history and often feel that Dentists dont believe me when I say what my allergies are. Or how I need extra local anaesthetic. So its not easy going to a new dentist. I shouldnt have worried, everything was taken seriously and I got an effective local anaesthetic first time.
Thank you for trusting a patient. Its so unexpected. I am very impressed. Just have to decide what happens next?

Black Swan fitted me in for an emergency appointment at short notice late last year. I had seen their website and was reassured that a priority was to put their patients at ease. That certainly was my experience when Tochukwu replaced a detached crown for me, explaining clearly all that I needed to know. Today I was welcomed back for a hygienist appointment and met Leah, she was very gentle, explained everything she was about to do, and gave very helpful hints on brushing etc. I may well start to look forward to visiting the dentist, instead of dreading the thought!

As ever received an excellent service from the lovely and welcoming reception team. A cut above is how I would describe the little extra details.
Clare, my hygienist extremely thorough with good cleaning tips. Also her very nice assistant. I had a wonderful dentist/hygienist where I used to live and thought I wouldnt be able to find anyone comparable, but so far Ive been proved wrong.

Having had sub-standard service from my previous dental practice, I registered with Black Swan and had my new patient consultation this morning. Aside from the obvious quality of the practice facilities, the level of service and consultation received was like nothing i have ever experienced before. I received a highly comprehensive and friendly assessment in a relaxed atmosphere with no hard-sell for specific treatments and a pricing structure which is competitive with, if not more favourable that my previous dentist.
