Our dental practice in Tyldesley is based at 219 Elliott Street and has provided established NHS and private dental care to the local community for many years. We operate six surgeries and have a team comprising experienced dentists, a hygienist and dedicated clinical and practice support staff. Family dentistry is central to our service, and we offer a professional environment with disabled access and facilities for patients who speak English or Cantonese. The care available includes examinations, preventive dentistry, fillings, hygiene appointments, airflow treatment, root canal treatment, crowns, bridges, veneers, extractions, Invisalign, composite bonding and dental implants. New patient examinations cost 65 excluding X-rays, existing patient examinations cost 50, and emergency appointments for unregistered patients start at 92 excluding X-rays.For patients considering cosmetic or restorative care, our treatments include Invisalign Lite from 3,400 and composite bonding from 350, with free consultations available for Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. We also offer finance plans to help spread treatment costs, including interest-free arrangements and Klarna for qualifying treatments. When urgent dental problems arise, we provide same-day appointments during practice hours for issues including fractures and severe toothache, with out-of-hours assistance available separately. The practice can be reached using local transport links, including Atherton and Walkden stations, as well as V1 and V2 guided buses operating between Leigh, Tyldesley and Manchester. Great dentist, I drive 30-40 minutes just for them. Dr Ng is fab, he is more than just a dentist and very caring. My hygenist Jenny is also great. Only criticism I have is over the paperwork we have to fill in each time we go. If there are no change in medication or address, then we shouldn't have to fill it in again, they should have that on record. Reception should just ask on arrival if there are any changes, if not then you go straight through.

My dentist is Alan Ng . I have been a patient for 22 years. My husband is a patient and all children and grandchildren. He's the most wonderful dentist. Gentle and talks you while doing the procedure. Makes you feel relaxed and extremely knowledgeable and understanding.
I came to visit the dentist 16/3/2026 just for a general checkup and became extremely poorly as I sat in the chair. I had a anaphylaxis life threatening allergy this resulted myself struggling to breathe.. Alan was absolutely superb and saved my life. I can honestly say I couldn't of been in better hands. He acted immediately and gave me a EpiPen and called ambulance . He actually saved my life. The staff and all the team were unbelievable. I will never be able to thank them all enough especially Alan for the kindness and the injection for bringing me back. Later the next day he called me asking how I was . How lovely.
Thank you to a wonderful team and Alan you are credit to the dentist.

Absolutely top notch! Period. Mr Wisam Hasoon is a highly professional Dental practitioner & Then some. He is kind courteous & highly professional. I personally highly recommend this Gentleman. He took the time to go through the whole process & procedure. The young Lady medical assistant Miss Dickinson was equally professional courteous & kind.5 Practice. Highly recommended.

I have been at this dentist for about a yeah and a half now and my dentist Mr Ganatra has been nothing short of amazing I was so nervous to go to the dentist and he was so understanding and calming. He was constantly asking me how I was and now my treatment is finally over and I have had my first check up my teeth are back to being healthy with no pain or sensitivity. This has completely changed my life for the better and I cannot thank Mr Ganatra enough for everything he has done for me

I had 6 teeth out this week. I was very nervous but I was made very comfortable by my dentist, Alan. I felt no pain and he explained the whole process as he went along. I had a plate fitted on the same day and he saw me the next day to check if everything was ok, it was. I would recommend Alan to anyone

He (and predecessor Mr. Platt) are the only 2 people to look after my teeth (Im 51) so am sorry to see him go.
Always friendly with his chat and his skills are beyond compare as he expertly diagnosed and fixed any problems over the years with a minimum of fuss.
Absolute legend in my eyes, have a happy retirement, you will be sorely missed.

Mr Bell has been my dentist forever and my dads for even longer. I had some struggles with my teeth when I was younger and had an awful fear of the dentist which Ive been able to get over thanks to his patience. We are saddened by his retirement but Im sure he will leave us in capable hands. Thank you Mr Bell :)

Fantastic service. As a nervous patient I was apprehensive. Ive had bad experiences with other dentists in the past. But Eva put my mind right at ease and was caring throughout my procedure, checking I was ok throughout and willing to stop if it was too much for me. She explained everything clearly to me and made sure I was comfortable throughout.

Always an easy experience when I visit the dentist. I had to wait quite a few months for an appointment, but I think a lot of people need to be more realistic about what is possible following the pandemic. I go to Dr Alan Ng and he is honestly amazing! I'm quite nervous when going to the dentist, expecially when it comes to having fillings and he very understanding and patient with me. He doesn't push you to have it done and will take his time to make sure you feel conformable. I go to Dr Alan Ng every 6 months and will continue to do so.

Mr. Ganatra is always super helpful, informative and very patient, especially with the kids. He always made my children feel at ease and not to be scare with the dental procedures. Recently, the orthodontist informed that my daughter has to take out one of her tooth. Obviously she was so nervous and scared. Mr. Ganatra made her feels so calm and the procedure was smoothly success in no time. So thank you for your excellent work. And now a couple days later, it heels nicely. xxxx
