I had been having intermittent pain in a back molar for several months. My local dentist was rather unsure of the cause and referred me to their resident specialist. He very quickly told me I had a root infection, the tooth was dead and I needed root canal treatment with a post. All very invasive, last chance saloon and rather expensive.
A family member recommended Dr Jagdeep Saimbi and I travelled an hour and a half to see him for a second opinion. He very kindly agreed to see me on a Saturday. Dr Saimbi was exceptionally pleasant and welcoming and I was immediately confident I was in safe hands. He undertook several thorough investigations before diagnosing the problem - 2 cracks. The tooth was very much alive, there was no infection, and I certainly didnt need root canal treatment. He explained the course of treatment and said he would do more work today so I didnt need to make the long travel more than one more time (in a couple of months to finish the procedure).
What really impressed me was how Dr Saimbi narrated what he was doing throughout, he literally talked me through every stage, which I found reassuring - even though I couldnt reply! Dr Saimbi is a teacher at Tipton dental school and Sheffield University and I could tell. I am a headmaster in a school and Id give him a job tomorrow! Im sure his students place him in very high regard.
Unfortunately I cant remember the name of the dental nurse, but she was equally professional and very reassuring.

I had a braces consultation here and had a really great experience. The dentist was professional and took the time to explain everything clearly, which made me feel very comfortable and confident about the process.
The clinic itself was extremely clean and organised, which made the environment feel professional and reassuring. There was also a dental student present who was getting experience, and they were very friendly, attentive and overall well-trained. It was nice to see how supportive the whole team was.
Overall, a very welcoming clinic with knowledgeable staff. Id definitely recommend it to anyone considering braces or any sort of dental treatment
