Meet The Team
Report
The Dental Surgery was first opened in 1963 by Mr Frank Grainger. Paul Cassar acquired the surgery in 1993 and renamed it the Grange Dental Surgery. Since then, the surgery has grown into a two building practice as the Dental Hygiene Centre, which opened in 2015 is two doors away. With the growth of the practice has come the growth of a highly regarded and well qualified team.
Overview
Report
We are firm believers in preventative non-invasive dentistry; and aim to keep your teeth and gums healthy through regular dental check-ups and hygienists' appointments as well as effective advice and oral health education where appropriate. However, we know that despite the best of care treatments can sometimes be necessary and at Grange Dental Surgery you will benefit from the most cutting edge, effective treatments available.
Technology
Report
One of the core principles of Paul Cassar and the Grange Dental Surgery team is that new technologies and developments should be harnessed to deliver the best possible dental care to patients. With that in mind we invest heavily in new technology for our practice. We are the proud owners of the UK's first Apollo digital impression system by Sirona.
International Animal Rescue
Report
In addition to daily general practice, Paul also works for International Animal Rescue www.iar.org.uk, with his colleague Lisa Milella who is a veterinary dental surgeon. At International Animal Rescue they do exactly what their name says - saving animals from suffering around the world. Their work includes cutting free and caring for dancing bears in India, rescuing primates from captivity in Indonesia and sterilising and vaccinating stray dogs and cats in developing countries.Wherever possible rescued animals are returned to their natural environment but they also provide a permanent home for animals that can no longer survive in the wild.
