The Fresh Breath Centre is an advanced facility where we can clinically measure, diagnose and treat bad breath. We have been helping to restore confidence for over 25 years. It may simply be "morning breath" but can be a persistent chronic condition which affects a person's everyday life and confidence. It is almost always caused initially by a build up of excess bacteria in the mouth which gives off smelly gases often due to poor hygiene, badly fitting crowns or fillings and food trapping. Halitosis can sometimes be caused by diet, dehydration and health problems, all of which we look at and addressduring your initial consultation.

Our History

The Fresh Breath Dental Centre was established by Dr. Phil Stemmer in 1995. Over the years he successfully treated thousands of patients and became internationally renowned for his pioneering work on treating Halitosis. You only have to Google his name to see press coverage and patient stories relating to how he has saved marriages and in some extreme cases helped people overcome depression brought on by the condition. The treatments Dr Stemmer devised all those years ago have evolved and become even more successful in treating Halitosis.

Harpal graduated from Cardiff School of Dentistry in 2010. For the last 9 years he has worked as a general dentist in Cornwall, Bristol and South West london before joining us here. Harpal is an Invisalign provider and has completed courses focused on providing high end cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
What to Expect

A fresh breath consultation consists of a comprehensive examination of teeth and all soft tissues in the mouth. On your arrival your breath will be tested using a halimeter (a specialist piece of equipment to detect some of the gases which indicate whether you have bad breath or not) along with many other painless tests.
