Priors Dental Practice

Today i visited Priors for the first time. I am an extremely nervous patient (crying just having a check up) but i was made to feel completely at ease and had every step explained in a profesional yet sympathetic manner.

I went to the Priors Dental Practice since the middle of 2019. Had an assessment to join but given no plans or any explanation of what was wrong with my teeth if anything. The consultation took at best 30 minutes which from my previous experience was short. Went for a check up in September 2019 again nothing was mentioned about any concerns. Went again just last week to be told that I needed a whole lot of treatments on my teeth.

Again no explanation just you need to book it with no cost issues until you have to ask for it. I had to wait & then only had approximately 10 min with the hygienist who explained absolutely nothing about the treatment she wanted to do. Went then to see the dentist who said I had treatments with the hygienist again no explanation from the dentist apart from the hygienist is good.

For 15 minutes I was charged 95 which was extortion. The whole experience was very poor & very unprofessional all they want to do is charge large amounts for a very poor service. I wouldn't recommend this practice from my experience

I have been to the priors dentist and it is very good you get what you pay for and sometimes more. However my son is at this dentist and I have been paying monthly payments so he can go. But he hadn't been going, I think it may have something to do with the hygienists, he doesn't like the any pain. He couldn't keep to his appointments at other dentists, for other genuine reasons that's why I choose Priors through recommendation.

I am going to stop Priors monthly payments. I would like a package, so if he doesn't go, I can go instead and not waste money so I could at least use it, but they say it's more money, so it has to come to an end. Update I rang prior dentist today I told them about the plan and I wanted to cancel Holly spoke over me when I was trying to explain and she put down the phone. Hope that doesn't happen to anyone else.

Would recommend this dentist practice. I had a implant done and it's brilliant I would have another one done again if needed very very happy there very professional

Heavy handed painful dental work weeks of pain went back several times but could not resolve the problem except to be called an enigma. Went elsewhere problem solved. I would not recommend this dental practice who seem only interested in taking your money.

Simply the best dentists ever! Would not change for anything. Dentists are gentle, caring and my dentist is funny and makes going to the dentist a joy. They really care and provide advice, support, help and a fantastic environment. I hated going to the dentists and never thought I'd say it but I love going now, visiting priors is a pleasure. Their admin is excellent too, reminders and helpful admin/reception team. Love the monthly dental plan, never have to worry about paying. Nothing but genuine compliments for this amazing team. Love you priors!

When giving reviews people like to sum things up in one word, but on this occasion that isn't anywhere near good enough. Even though I live around the corner from the priors it took me 15 years to pluck up the courage to step inside the doors and ask to make an appointment after being referred by my usual dentist. From that moment I got my self esteem back again.

I needed implants but had no idea what to ask, the cost or who to trust. From that moment, on that day when I first met Mark Emms I felt like all I needed to do was relax and trust him and his team, each of them a master in their field. That was over 2 years ago. Mark is still checking on me now, making sure that everything is as it should be. He is a remarkable dental surgeon, highly skilled, with a vast knowledge of his profession and a very decent human being who brought that knowledge back to where he was brought up so that he could give a little back to the local community by looking after their teeth.

I am one of those people. If you are a nervous patient like myself you will be in the best hands. Thankyou so much Mark and all the team at the Priors for giving me my smile back.

If only Carlsberg did dentistry. In short I don't like wasting money, spending it is alright, wasting it is bad. Mmkay! I am happy to spend my money @ Priors. The dental care is second to none, the staff are not only professional but friendly, they have a member of the team that specializes in just about every aspect of dental care. The surgery is as bright and clean as your teeth will be after a visit to the hygienists. Going to any old dentists may improve your smile. Visiting Priors will not only guarantee to improve your smile but will make you use it too!

Care is good, but frankly no more than you'd expect from a modern dentist's surgery. I have just decided to change from this surgery because their attitude to appointments is woeful. Whilst the waiting room is quite nice and comfy with lots of magazines it needs to be because you'll be spending most of your time at the practice here. They don't seem to realise that for most patients the waiting is worse than the treatment. Seeing as you are paying for this service my advice is to go elsewhere unless you are retired or otherwise have time on your hands.
