Called Acomb Dental Clinic on Front Street to review a troublesome tooth which has bothered me for some time. As ever, the team were very professional and the dentist, Chris Hand, diagnosed the problem very quickly after a thorough examination. He has given me some alternative treatments to consider, so it is now up to me to decide the way forward. Not an ideal way to spend half an hour of your time, but if you are looking for dental treatment, Acomb Dental is highly recommended.

I have been a patient there for quite a few years and as always the experience was brilliant, you are made to feel as ease from the moment you arrive and the friendly atmosphere make what could be a scary time peaceful and assured that the professional staff are capable of dealing with any problem you may have. I moved from York to Leeds over two years ago and have good dentists nearer but I am happy to travel the extra distance to have the confidence they always give me.

I had 11 teeth out yesterday and the whole procedure was carried out with efficiency and care. The team couldn't have been more caring and kind. Thank you to Maria and Karen in particular they were superb. I was supported every minute of the procedure. This is the start of my implant surgery so am looking forward to the next step.

Having experienced dental phobia all my life I was apprehensive about my visit but the warm welcome given to me by Michael Davies, the nurse and the receptionist helped greatly to allay my fears. Was really impressed with the way that Michael Davies treated me and most particularly the clear and precise way he described various options available to me.

I cannot thank Lynda enough for her kind, compassionate and exemplary work today! I have never had an injection in my gum. I have had fillings without injections as my fear and anxiety are so strong! Lynda today has performed a wisdom tooth extraction for me, she was absolutely amazing. Told me just the right amount of information; put me at ease, kind and compassionate when I had a wee cry.
I felt no pain or discomfort through the extraction, honestly cannot thank you enough for looking after me so well and being so efficient with the treatment. Highly recommend Acomb dental practice!

I've attended a couple of times this year for hygienist appointments. Both times Natalie assisted. I found her to be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about dental hygiene, and very positive and friendly. She talked me through my dental routines and gave me some really good advice. Laura the hygienist was very friendly immediately made me feel at ease and relaxed throughout my appointment talking me through each stage.

Our first time at Acomb Dental today and I haven't got a bad word to say. Every member of staff we spoke to was unbelievably friendly, we ended up talking their ears off at the reception counter. A really smooth and efficient experience especially considering all of the covid restrictions! Dentist happily answered all questions (of which my partner had many). I can't recommend this practice highly enough, we won't be going anywhere else!
