I have been using the practice for around 14 years. I now have 2 children and we all attend. I highly recommend. Connor is brilliant with children and they have no worries visiting the dentist. I had an infected tooth during lockdown and Naomi was amazing in looking after me, which was quite traumatic due to the pain and procedures I needed, as well as the staff covered in extra PPE it was very daunting. My family and I do not live in Derby but we would never consider changing to a closer dentist. All the staff are friendly, welcoming and I have never worried about visiting.

Avoid this practice. I went there referred by my dentist because I needed a dental implant. After a few assessments and money wasted, when I tried to book a follow up appointment to get the procedure done, the receptionist informed me that unfortunately, the dentist couldn't perform the implant because he only works in the practice one day a week.
Didn't he know this before doing the assessment and confirming the procedure? I know there's also another dentist in that practice. I'm unsure why I wasn't referred to him, instead. Not professional at all.

I asked for some heavily stained indentations in my teeth to be cleaned and filled. The two indentations were filled but never cleaned first. The stains have always grinned through the filler and I don't like smiling anymore. I paid good money for work I'm not happy with. A negative experience and I will never return.

I've been going to Duffield Road Dental for years and have never had anything but the best treatment from the team. Conor is very calming and puts you at ease.just what you want from your dentist! I've never felt that any of the work wasn't necessary, Conor is very good at explaining what he's going to do and why.

Having had a severe fear of dentists because of previous bad experiences I shopped around Derby and even spent money I could barely afford on three consultations. These consultations only added to my fears and did not give any confidence. This practice however were exceptional from arranging an appointment on the telephone, hearing my concerns and fears, informing me at every stage, giving me the choices relevant to cost and treatment. Generally, they were excellent! And that is after two pain- free extractions. A therapeutic experience!
